behind In Good Design. I am a native Angeleno, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. My passion for design is rooted in the art and style of the city I grew up in. I spent years as a teen and young adult studying at The Conservatory of Fine Arts where I learned to master the use of color, creative design and planning.

As a military spouse our family has moved countless times over the last 20 years. Each duty station offered a new home to style while remaining within the limits of a "renter". I began my design career in 2008 following the purchase of our first home in San Diego. I DIY'd my way through simple room refreshers, renovations and home staging. We ultimately sold that home 10 years later for 21K over asking within two days of listing.

Our current home is my newest canvas. As a creative I am driven to design spaces that exude stylish function on a budget. I have learned to enhance spaces by paying close attention to how people interact with their environment.
